My classroom scenario:
Middle school: 4, 1 our blocks each day, between 25-35 students in each class, 12 sped, 10 IEPs for behavior, 6 computers in the classroom, computer lab available with reservation, document camera.

Blog Assignment Week 1
I decided to become a teacher because of the influences of my family; I grew up in a family where the majority of them were teachers, ranging from elementary school to college. I enjoyed the stories and seeing how they got to work with people and make a difference. To have that kind of purpose, I cannot think of anything greater. When it comes to technology I am not very proficient. I would probably be considered the norm. I would like to learn anything that could be useful in a classroom. Kids today are very involved in a variety of forms of technology and that is why it is important for teachers to use tech to help students learn and connect. I believe that using tech is a great idea and that teachers can greatly benefit from that knowledge and therefore help more students.
